Use & Care Guidelines

1. Avoid Thermal Shock

Avoid sudden temperature shifts (e.g., placing hot pottery in cold water) to avoid cracks from thermal stress.

2. Heating Restrictions

Not suitable for direct flame, oven, or microwave use. High heat may damage glazes’ integrity or cause breakage; use solely for serving, not heating. (Flameproof items excluded)

3. Handle with Care

Handle gently and store separately. Glaze hardness varies; impacts may chip edges. Avoid forceful contact with metal utensils.

4. Care Instructions

- Rinse immediately after use; stains may penetrate matte glazes over time.

- Avoid acidic cleansers (vinegar, citric acid) which can degrade glaze finishes.

- Clean with mild detergent and soft sponge; abrasive tools may scratch the glaze.

- Dishwasher use is not recommended for products with thinner walls or a low-gloss glaze.

- Avoid prolonged soaking or sun exposure to preserve colors.

- Can be air-dried naturally or tumble-dried.

5. Storage & Maintenance

- Place soft liners between stacked items to prevent glaze abrasion.

- Store in cool, dry conditions; humidity may cause glaze cloudiness. Wipe with warm water before reuse.

- Revive matte finishes with dry silk cloth; wax-based polishes may clog pores.

6. Specialty Glaze Alerts

- Crackled surfaces may absorb stains; limit exposure to intensely colored liquids.

- Dry matte surfaces: Avoid prolonged acidic food and strong stains contact.

7. Repair & Warranty

- Glaze crazing is normal. Discard if cracks reach the inner layer.

- Damage resulting from misuse or improper operation is excluded from warranty coverage.
